iTs YOUR Story

An opportunity to share how your story has influenced your business

I believe the story of your business is just as important as the business itself.

That’s why I’ve created “iTs YOUR Story”.

“iTs YOUR Story” is a series of 50 individual interviews with NOW members like you for approximately 15 minutes on Facebook Live. You’ll share stories about life events that inspired you to create a business that helps others and how you got to where you are today.

The business success stories of today weren’t always easy. No, in fact, they came about from months and years of toiling and overcoming adversity that most would not even think possible.

Why tell YOUR story?

Stories are crucial in business. You wouldn’t build a business if there weren’t a reason behind it. And that reason is the story that got us to where we are today. Whether it was hard work, luck, or just plain fate, every entrepreneur has a different story to tell.

It’s no secret: if people know and like you, they’re more likely to trust you. While it may seem like an oxymoron, there is scientific research to support this statement. This is commonly called the “halo effect” or the “warm glow of familiarity.” Human beings have an inherent understanding that people who are familiar to us are in some way more trustworthy than those we don’t know. And telling your story is a great way to develop familiarity.

Every story is different. Behind each one are the same passions, fight, and spirit that move us forward.

Your story is important. And here is an opportunity to explore and share it.

How the interviews work

We’ll go live at the time we have arranged via a StreamYard invite link I’ll share with you 24 hours before the event. There is nothing to download. Just click on the link, and you will find yourself in the StreamYard lobby – quick, simple and easy!

StreamYard is the Platform I use to stream our interview into the Facebook NOW group, the NOW business page and the NOW YouTube channel. That’s a lot of opportunities for people to hear your story.

You must arrive at least 10 minutes before our interview. I’ll be there 20 minutes before if you’d like to talk more fully about what we could cover in the interview.

I’ll start the interview with a short introduction and then prompt you with some questions to explore your story.

You’re not alone; I’m there all the time with you.

So, are you ready to tell your story and build familiarity within your network?

To get you started, can you identify ONE reason why you began YOUR business? Of course, there might be more than one reason, but we’ve got to start somewhere. This could be as far back as childhood, as your skills may have started then.
